We started raising 50 chickens for ourselves, friends and extended family. The demand for our chickens increased and they became a family project. Our daughters helped us take care of them and we processed them ourselves. When our chicken numbers were at 300 - 400 each summer we began to have them processed at a chicken processing facility in Little Falls. Our daughters began taking over the entire care for the birds. Recently, we have had interns stay on the farm to care for the birds, as our girls have all graduated from college and have jobs elsewhere.

Our meat is sold by the hanging weight. This means it has been butchered, and the skin, head, and insides have been removed. Poultry are sold whole. We use clean State inspected facilities to process your meat. Meat will keep 9-10 months in freezer.
